Do you have a question about your voucher? You'll find the answers here. The same rules apply to all vouchers so that things stay fair for everyone. Please read through the points below before contacting us.
1. Validity
- Our vouchers and packages are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
- After that they expire and can no longer be redeemed.
- The session you book with the voucher must take place within this period. So please book in good time; sessions can be booked about 8 weeks in advance.
Goodwill vouchers: If you received a voucher from us as a goodwill gesture, it is valid for 1 year from receipt.
2. Extension
- The validity period cannot be extended. This applies equally to all vouchers, including in individual cases.
- Please plan your visit in good time and redeem your voucher at least a few weeks before it expires.
- Can't make it yourself? Vouchers are transferable. Simply pass it on to someone else.
3. Which voucher is valid for what?
Vouchers are only valid within their category. Upgrading to a higher category is not possible.

4. How to redeem your voucher
- Choose a session in the matching category in the booking calendar.
- Enter your voucher code during the booking process.
- Complete your booking.
If the code doesn't work, please check:
- You can only redeem one voucher code per booking process. For several sessions, go through the process several times.
- Does the voucher match the category of the session?
- Is there a space at the end of the code? This often happens when copying.
- Was the code entered incorrectly several times? For security reasons it is then blocked for about 45 minutes.
- Does a different browser or switching from phone to laptop help?
If you have problems, please contact us before you book. We do not refund sessions that have already been paid for, and promo codes cannot be applied retroactively.
5. Combining with discounts
Combining discounts is not possible. In addition to a voucher or discount code, we cannot grant any further discounts on the ticket price or on packages.
6. Passing on and loss
- Vouchers are not tied to a person and can be freely transferred.
- With our voucher generator you can turn your voucher code into a nicely designed voucher to give as a gift.
- If tickets are lost, we only provide the service if your identity can be clearly established and the ticket has not yet been used. There is no legal entitlement. Please keep your voucher safe.
7. Returns, withdrawal and refunds
- A cash payout of the voucher value is not possible.
- If you are a private individual and bought in the ticket shop, you generally have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. It expires as soon as you have booked for a specific day or have been granted first entry.
- In the event of operational restrictions or closures due to technical issues or weather, the ticket price is generally not refunded. If you miss at least 15 minutes of water time due to weather, please write to us at contact@surftown.de.
8. Frequently asked questions
I was ill, on vacation or didn't have time. Can the voucher be extended? Unfortunately not. Every voucher expires after 2 years and we make no exceptions. If you can't use it yourself, feel free to give it to someone else.
I only received the voucher as a gift late. What counts is always the purchase date of the voucher, not the date it was handed over.
Can I use a Beginner voucher for an A-Frame or Pointbreak session? No, upgrading to a higher category is not possible.
Can I redeem several vouchers in one booking? No, only one code per booking process is possible.
Can I also rent equipment or shop with the voucher? No. The voucher is valid for the respective session. Surf rental, surf shop and gastronomy have their own terms.
